Just after creating this Under Construction page I found out I had to have my own domain to do the things I wanted. The available options just weren’t there with the free WordPress sites. I moved my blog site to www.myveryownsportsblog.com
Lately, I’ve had a desire to write again. I’ve written on other sites but for one reason or another they are no longer around. I have no place to post my writing.
In the past I’ve written on the Bleacher Report. They require passing a test each year. I got tired of submitting articles for approval.
To me, the only test I should have to pass is the one given to me by my readers.
Please bear with me. I’m searching the web now for a suitable framework theme to set the appearance and internal function of the site.
I’m a CAD and IT Specialist by trade and not a blog site setter upper. I’m a little slow because of having to research the how to sites and then figure out the “how to”.
I set one of these sites up a while back for a guy. That was supposed to be my space to post my work. He parlayed that into something for himself. Hence, here I am, parlaying something for myself.
My goal is to bring you the finest in amateur sports journalism. Something a little different and out of the norm of mainstream media. Once the site is set up and fully functioning I’ll be adding other authors by invitaion. I have several in mind currently who have previously expressed a desire to incorporate their works into my site.
